PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recognizing solder paste for constituting a solder paste inspecting unit of a low cost by accurately recognizing the paste. SOLUTION: The method for recognizing solder paste printed on a board distinctly from other element on the board comprises the steps of imaging the board by a camera while emitting a light to the board to obtain a planar image of the board, edge extracting the image to obtain an edge information image, and executing the image by expanding and contracting to solidly coat a solder paste region. |
