PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a water-based dispersion capable of giving a coated membrane having a preservation stability, adhering property, a high hardness, etc., by dispersing a polymer obtained by chemically binding a polyorganosiloxane with a vinyl-based polymer containing a hydrophilic functional group into a water-based medium. SOLUTION: This water-based dispersion for a coating material, etc., is obtained by mixing a polyorganosilane prepared by mixing methyltrimethoxysilane, dimethyldimethoxysilane, an ion exchanged water, 0.1 N hydrochloric acid and i-propyl alcohol, and heating at 60 deg.C for performing a condensation reaction with a vinyl-based polymer prepared by polymerizing methylmethacrylate, n-butylacrylate, γ-methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane, acrylic acid, 2-hydroxyethylmethacrylate, etc., in the presence of a polymerization initiator in i-propyl alcohol with heating, reacting at 60 deg.C in water and preparing a polymer obtained by chemically binding the polyorganosiloxane with the vinyl-based polymer having a hydrophobic functional group, and then dispersing the above polymer into a water-based medium. |
