PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a suction port of a deodorizing apparatus from being clogged with garbage in a garbage dryer provided with the deodorizing apparatus at a lower part of a capping covering a drying room in order to utilize a heater of the deodorizing apparatus as a heating source for hot air. SOLUTION: A garbage disposer is constituted of the drying room 1 for housing and drying the garbage, an air blowing mechanism sending hot air into the drying room 1 and a catalyst deodorizing apparatus 2 having a catalyst layer 6 for deodorizing malodorous components in a malodorous gas and a heater 7. The catalyst deodorizing apparatus 2 is installed at the lower part of the capping 5 covering the drying room 1 and the heating source of the hot air is the heater 7 of the catalyst deodorizing apparatus 2. In this case, the suction port 8a of the catalyst deodorizing apparatus 2 is formed so as to turn toward a hinge 5b installed at the capping 5. |
