FIELD: space engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention is related to devices that might be used in systems for support and inspection of small-size platforms that are flying free in space. Device comprises container (1) installed outside space station. Container has hole (2) and door (8) for its closure equipped with closing mechanism (3). Mechanism provides for fixation of ball-like platform (7) inside container (1) and is actuated by engine from one or more photoelectric barriers (5, 6), which react to platform availability. From inside container (1) may be equipped with funnel-shaped walls (9, 10), in one of which photoelectric switch is installed (11) for indication of platform (7) positioning. ^ EFFECT: creation of device, with the help of which it is possible to reduce costs of space station operation, and also to reduce risk for astronauts working on these stations during maintenance of these free-flying platforms. ^ 8 cl, 2 dwg |
