FIELD: instrument making. ^ SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a cutting device for cutting, in the cutting direction, a breaker layer made from unvulcanised rubber fabric, with parallel cord threads. The breaker layer has a longitudinal axis. The cord threads form an angle with the longitudinal axis. The cutting device has blade, which can freely move linearly into the lateral side relative the cutting direction. Also the device has a first detector for detecting lateral displacement of the blade in the cutting process. There is a control computer, functionally connected to the first detector for passing commands based on information on displacement of the detector relative the lateral displacement of the blade. The cutting device has one actuating mechanism, functionally connected to the control apparatus for controlling the cutting direction of the blade in the cutting process, based on control commands. The blade is disc shaped and is on an axis, and the disc shaped blade can freely slide on the axis. ^ EFFECT: invention allows for making an improved cutting device, capable of following the direction of cord threads. ^ 28 cl, 21 dwg |
