PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an image not being affected by rubbing and not generating bleeding by containing a thermoplastic resin coupling agent of specified softening point, epoxy resin, a crosslinking agent of specified softening point and a detecting agent in a thermal transfer layer of specified softening point. SOLUTION: A matrix of thermoplastic resin having the softening point of 200 deg.C or under as a solid at the room temperature, epoxy resin as a liquid at the room temperature stored in capsules, a crosslinking agent for epoxy resin and a heat-sensitive material are contained in a thermal transfer layer 24 of the softening point of 200 deg.C or under. Epoxy resin and the crosslinking material reacting each other at the room temperature are selected. The crosslinking agent is preferably a solid at the room temperature, and its softening point should be 200 deg.C or under. A part of the thermal transfer layer 24 is softened by the heat from a printing head 30 to destroy microcapsules, and as a result, a mixed section 40 is formed. An image 32 is formed by the reaction of epoxy resin with the crosslinking agent in the mixed section 40. |
