PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-powered automatic grinding device for a rail flow, having the capability of taking a relatively compact form and automatically grinding the rail flow during the operation of an overhead crane. SOLUTION: This device has a truck frame 13 mounted on a crane body moving along a travel rail 11, so as to be movable along the breadthwise direction of the rail 11, front and rear wheels 14 to 17 rotatably fitted via horizontal shafts 38 and 39 and horizontal bearings 40 to 43 for the support thereof, so as to be capable of rolling on the head surface of the travel rail 11, and vertical shafts 55 to 58 rotatably connected to the truck frame 13 via vertical bearings. Also, the device has rotary grinding wheels 27 mounted on the lower parts of the vertical shafts 55 to 58 and horizontal shafts 55 to 58, so as to be capable of coming in contact with the lateral upper part of the travel rail 11, and power transmission mechanisms 22 to 25 for the transmission of the rotation of the horizontal shafts 38 and 39 to the vertical shafts 55 to 58. |
