PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new compound showing antagonism on thromboxane acceptor and/or inhibitory activity against thromboxane, containing a carbamoyl- substituted oxazolyl or oxazolinyl group on a phenyl ring. SOLUTION: This compound is shown by formula I ((n) is 2-5; L is o-, m- or p-phenylene; R<a> is H or two R<a> s are bonded to form a double bond; R is a 3-12C alkyl, a 3-12C alkenyl, 2-phenylcyclopropyl, etc.) or its salt such as (E)-7-[4-[4-[[(4-(cyclohexylbutyl)amino)carbonyl]-2-oxazolyl]phenyl]-7 -(3-pirydil) hept-6-enoic acid. The compound of formula I is obtained by decomposing an ester of formula II (RP forms a carboxy-protecting ester). The compound is useful for treating hepatic disorder (glomerular nephritis, graft rejection, etc.), pneumonopathy (asthma, etc.), vascular disorder (attack, myocardial infarction, etc.), a complication caused by angioplasty, coronary artery by-pass operation, etc. |
