<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve aerodynamic characteristics and sufficiently uniformalize the aerodynamic characteristics across the whole circumference by forming dimples on any large circles innumerably formed on the spherical face and setting the total number of the dimples from 372 to 482. SOLUTION: A circular dimple 4 slightly crossing a large circle 3, which is stacked thereon, is provided in the bottom part, of a long side 2a and another circular dimple 4 crossing a large circle 3, which is stacked on a medium side 2b, is provided in an intersection part of the long side 2a and the medium side 2b. A circular dimple 4 which crosses a large circle 3 running across the intermediate part of the medium side 2b is provided on a large circle 3 stacked on the medium side 2b and a circular dimple 4 which crosses other two large circles 3 which pass through the intersection of the medium side 2b and the short side 2c and are not stacked on the sides 2b, 2c. A circular dimple 4 crossing a large circle 3 which crosses at right angles with the long side 2a is added on the large circle 3 stacked on the short, side 2c and a circular dimple 4 crossing a large circle 3 which crosses at an acute angle with the long side 2a is provided so that the circular dimples 4 in total 372 are uniformly arranged thereon.</p> |
