PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a general purpose composite panel which is applicable to many purposes including the components of vehicles traveling on roads and rails, building materials, display racks for exhibitions, and various covering materials. SOLUTION: At least one radius of curvature 24b is formed in the outside layer 14 of a composite panel 10 composed of a core 12 and at least one outside sheet 14 which is bonded to the core 12 through an adhesive for the molding of the panel 10. The core 12 has cell structure and bonded to the outside layer 14 through a viscoelastic adhesive layer 16 which is applied over a wide area. By the combination of the core 12 of honeycomb structure with the adhesive layer 16 through which the core 12 is fixed to the outside sheet 14, the panel 10 is provided the molding of which can be done promptly at an appropriate price without hurting the outside layer and without lowering the strength severely. |
