PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a waterless lithographic plate which can laser record and satisfies removing performance (i.e., developing performance) of an ink repellent layer and hence printing performance. SOLUTION: First, a moistening water needless lithographic printing plate obtained by sequentially laminating a first layer of a layer for converting a laser beam into heat and a second layer of a layer for having an ink repellent surface in this order on a support is prepared. The beam which can be absorbed by the first layer is emitted to the original plate to expose its image. Thus, adhesive properties of the second layer of an exposure portion to the support are lowered. Then, a surface of the second layer is rubbed, and at least a portion of the second layer of a laser emitted portion is removed. Further, a release sheet having a surface layer adhesive to the surface of the second layer is press bonded to plate surface of the second layer side, and then the release sheet is released. The feature resides in two times removing steps of an unnecessary portion of the second layer of rubbing and releasing. |
