摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the perfectly dense stainless steel article with high yield strength by preparing an austenitic stainless steel article by compacting the grains which are subjected to nitrogun gas spraying and previously alloyed and in which minimum patting corrosion resistance equivalent number andσ-solves temp. are respectively specified. SOLUTION: In the austenitic stainless steel article prepared by compacting the previously alloyed grains containing >=0.7wt.% nitrogen resulting from nitrogen gas praying, the grains are provided with >55 minimum pitting corrosion resistance equivalent-(PRE) number and <=1232 deg.Cσ-solvus temp. (Tσ). Further, this article has a composition consisting of, by weight, 0.08%, at the maximum, of C, 0.5-12.5% Mn, 20-29% Cr, 17-35% Ni, 3-10% Mo, >=0.7% N, <=1.0% Si, <=0.02% B, <=0.02% Mg, <=0.05% Ce, and the balance Fe. By this method, the compacted and perfectly dense austenitic stainless steel article having high yield strength can be obtained.
