PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building which can secure a sufficient ventilation and daylighting even when the building is erected adjacently to other buildings in a narrow site. SOLUTION: A plurality of wing walls 4 stretched to the right-angled direction from the external wall 2 to the inside, connected to the upper floor part and the lower floor part are provided. Shading members 5 are provided so as to connect the front ends of two wing walls adjacently erected and a space surrounded by two wing walls, the external wall 2, and the shading members 5 is made to form a vertical air passage 6 which is connected to the underfloor and the space on the roof and a daylighting window is installed on the top of the roof. A plurality of vertical air passages are provided along the external wall 2 and connected by the horizontal air passage 10. The all rooms can be ventilated by taking the outside air into such vertical air passages or horizontal air passages. The daylight taken from the daylighting window on the roof passes through the vertical air passages and reaches the habitable rooms through shading members 5 made of a translucent plate. |
