PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the productivity by dispersely arranging the wear resistant material on a clamp surface of a work to be welded of energizing electrodes to improve the service life of the energizing electrode and to improve the working rate of the equipment. SOLUTION: The resin is coated on a surface of a clamp 6 of a work to be welded of energizing electrodes 4, 4a and a groove 7 is cut in a lattice shape. After the wear resistant material 10 is filled in the groove 7 over the resin through the plating, the resin and the wear resistant material projected on the surface are removed through cutting, and the wear resistant material is dispersely arranged on the surface of the clamp 6 of the work to be of the energizing electrodes 4, 4a. The width of the groove 7 of, for example, approximately 5mm, is sufficient, and the depth of, e.g. 0.5-5mm can surely provide the wear resistance. The wear resistance can surely be provided by providing the wear resistant material arranged in the groove 7 of the lattice shape in which the angleαrelative to the advancing direction of the work of e.g. 0 deg.<α<180 deg., and 10-20% in terms of the ratio to the energizing area.
