PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accomplish an accuracy of recording density correctly at low costs by arranging liquid ejecting openings of a plurality of nozzles in rows and columns, and disposing at least one of the rows and columns in shifted relation in its alternative positions to install a group of nozzles in a simple structure. SOLUTION: Composite recording (B dots 26, C dots 27, M dots 28, and Y dots 29) by the dot position pattern of a dot group (rows or lines) of black B dots 22, cyan C dots 23, mazenta M dots 24, and yellow T dots 25 is a composite recording by four color uniform position disposition. The recording density of each color is 600dpi, and the recording speed becomes twice as high as that of composite recording in the conventional four color same position disposition. Also, the recording speed becomes simultaneously twice because adjacent rows and columns are recorded; however, the dot disposition pattern can be allowed to be a high definition and high density by the use of a multi-nozzle recording head achieved on a semiconductor substrate. |
