PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high zirconia fused refractories stable to a heat cycle, not causing peeling and having high electric resistance. SOLUTION: The objective high zirconia fused refractories contain, by weight, 86-96% ZrO2 , 3-9% SiO2 , 0.1-2% Al2 O3 , 0.05-3.5% B2 O3 , 0.05-0.3% Na2 O and 0.05-0.3% K2 O as chemical components but do not practically contain P2 O5 and alkaline earth metal oxides. |
