PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely lower the ignitability of captured dust by providing relative humidity indicators for the upper limit and the lower limit in a dust collector, and electrically connecting both relative humidity indicators to a solenoid opening and closing valve for air and to a solenoid opening and closing valve for water through a controller. SOLUTION: Three relative humidity indicators 22, 23, 24 are electrically connected to a controller 25, and the controller 25 is electrically connected to the solenoid opening and closing valve 10 for air and the solenoid opening and closing valve 16 for water. If the measured value of the relative humidity indicator for the lower limit is 15% or less, open signals are output to the solenoid opening valves 10, 16 for air and water from the controller, so that a water atomizing nozzle 6 is communicated with a compressed air source 14 and a water source 21 and Water is atomized and sprayed from the water atomizing nozzle 6 with the means particle diameter of 25-50μm by the compressed air to heighten the relative humidity. When the measured value of the relative humidity indicator 22 for the upper limit reaches 35%, the solenoid valves 10, 16 for air and water are closed to discontinue atomizing of water. Thus, the ignitability of captured dust can be lowered.
