METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THERMOFORMING LAMINATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a novel method for manufacturing a composite article which can be thermoformed of a base material for constituting a composite in which at least one of a plurality of inclusive layers is a hard coating by a thermoplastic polymer. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a laminate which can be thermoformed containing a thermoplastic resin base material comprises the steps of covering the base material which may be a laminate material made of a plurality of layers with a hard coating composition, and partially curing a hard coating in one step. Such a laminate which can be thermoformed can be simultaneously cured and thermoformed, and hence a hard coating having satisfactory adhesive properties is obtained. This coating does not exhibit a sign of a fine craze, and does not substantially exhibit mutual invasion of the coating into the base material.
