PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the sharp variation of sintering condition by making gentle of the variation with time of the grain size construction of powdery coke discharged from a vessel at the time of stopping the supply of the powdery coke into the blending vessel. SOLUTION: The powdery coke is discharged from the blending vessel 2 incorporating the highest powdery coke level. When the powdery coke level in the blending vessel 2 lowers to a prescribed valueα, the powdery coke is discharged from a blending vessel 3 incorporating the secondary higher powdery coke level, too and parallel discharged from both blending vessels 2 and 3. When the powdery coke level in the blending vessel 3 lowers to the prescribed valueα, the powdery coke is discharged from a blending vessel incorporating the ternary higher powdery coke level, too and parallel discharged from three blending vessels. In the following, this method is applied to the rest powdery coke blending vessels in order and automatic driving is executed. By this method, the stable sintering operation is kept and the quality is further stabilized, and returning ore developing ratio is reduced and the unit requirement of the coke is lowered and further, the method controbutes to the saving of labor.
