PROCEDURE AND DEVICE FOR PREPARATION OF JUNCTION AND MEASURING POINTS IN PUBLIC SUPPLY PIPELINES

In one of its parts the invention refers to the procedure for the preparation of junction and/or measuring points in the public supply pipelines. On the place of junction or measuring point in the ditch the inlet and outlet pipes (2,3) are fixed in the position taken by the assembled unit at a distance corresponding the distance of the pipe outlets of the device to be connected. The procedure first involves the installation of a solid reinforcement structure (10) and flank panelling in the neighbourhood of the junction or measuring spot and - with the exception of channels running along the track of the inlet and outlet pipes (2, 3) - filling the latter with fresh concrete on the site preferably to the level of the ground. After that the inlet and outlet pipe (2, 3) are introduced into the solid concrete body (1) in a way that the pipes and the concrete body (1) can be later separated again. In its second part, the invention is concerned with the device for the preparation of junction and measuring spots in public supply pipelines, consisting of the elements for fixing the inlet and outlet pipes (2, 3) in the position taken by the already assembled unit so that it corresponds to the distance of the pipe outlets. According to the invention the device has its body made of reinforced concrete into which two tubes (4, 5) are inserted and concrete is poured on them on the site. The device consists of a bearing structure (11) welded to the reinforcement structure (10) of the body (1), carrying two connecting pieces (15) to create the connection between the inlet and outlet pipes (2, 3) and the regulating or measuring device.
