PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an incineration plant capable of effectively utilizing heat of exhaust gas, and a waste heat recovery method.SOLUTION: An incineration plant A includes a dust collection device 1 performing dust removal processing to exhaust gas G generated in an incinerator, an exhaust gas cleaning device 2 cleaning the exhaust gas G processed in the dust collection device 1, and a humidity reduction device performing humidity reduction processing to the exhaust gas G processed in the exhaust gas cleaning device 2. As the humidity reduction device, an electrothermal conversion device 10 generating temperature difference from voltage is included. With a low heat source cooled by supplying electric power to the electrothermal conversion device 10, the exhaust gas G processed in the exhaust gas cleaning device 2 is subjected to humidity reduction processing, and with heat of a high heat source heated by supplying electric power to the electrothermal conversion device 10, the exhaust gas G subjected to humidity reduction processing is heated to perform white smoke prevention processing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
