FIELD: gears determining orientation of drill hole shaft. SUBSTANCE: accelerometers only are used to measure zenith angle and azimuth. Accelerometers are set in oscillatory motion to determine azimuth which is found by value of Coriolis acceleration in this case. Inclinometer has guides where carriage connected to mechanism of reciprocating motion moves. Accelerometers are mounted on carriage and their outputs are connected to information processing unit. Transducer of present speed of carriage that can be manufactured as integrator of readings of accelerometer which sensitivity axis is directed along guides is inserted into inclinometer for accurate processing of signals of accelerometers and computation of azimuth.
