FIELD: nuclear power plants. SUBSTANCE: hot header 9 communicates with cold header 10 through piping 11 that has valve 12 normally closed in case of pressure drop of coolant coming from main circulating pumps across steam generators and normally open in absence of pressure drop; cold header 10 communicates with steam space 8 of expansion device 6 through piping 13 that has valve 14 normally closed in case of pressure drop of coolant coming from main circulating pumps 4 across steam generator 5. EFFECT: provision for dispensing with electrical conducting hardware, reliable power supply from storage batteries, power cables, automatic-control system. 1 dwg
