The internal box (1) of the watch encloses the movement and is situated within an external box (5). The internal box is retained within the external box by a circle (7) which surrounds the internal box. The frame of the watch cover (8) forming part of the internal box includes a radial rod (9) which ends in a ball (10) engaged within a spherical hollow (12) in the mounting circle (7). This hollow includes a radial slot allowing the passage of the rod (9). A spring lamella (15) carried by the circle tends to hold the ball (10) within the spherical hollow (12). The internal box is thus pivoted about the ball and socket joint, and may be lifted out of the external casing against the action of the spring. |
