RAILWAY PAD FOR FITTING A RAIL TO A REINFORCED CONCRETE SLEEPER

The guided pad is used in railway construction ofstraight-line and curvature sectors. It has improved reliabilityand functionality. The guided pad is made of a supporting slab (1)to one of the longitudinal walls of which a trough-like part (3)is formed, and a relief part (5) is formed on its other side, onthe side of the rail. A pass-through hole (8) is formed in thesupporting slab (1) and in the relief part (5). One end seat (7)each made in rectangular form and projecting above the uppersurface (8) of the supporting slab (1) is formed at each of theends of the relief part (5). One intermediate seat (9) each isformed perpendicularly to the end seats (7) representing part ofan irregular conical surface. A spacer rib (10) is made betweenthe two intermediate seats (9), and a longitudinal supportingnotch (16) is formed in the upper surface (15) of the trough-likepart (3), centre C of the pass-through hole (6) is shifted from Cto C3 in the direction of the longitudinal groove (16) at adistance by 12 times smaller than the diameter of the pass-throughhole (6) which has conical form having its larger base turned tothe upper surface (8).(11) 199
