The water dispersive tablet contains from 50 to 95% wt/wtacyclovir or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt and from 0.25 to40% pharmaceutically acceptable expansion clay which encures itsability to disperse in water for less than 3 min. The dispersionproduced is passed through a screen having 710 m mesh inaccordance with the dispersive tablet tests specified in BritishPharmacopoeia, v.II, p. 895.
