FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: commercial-storing modular unit has modular premise which is divided by multilayer partitions into compartments and is provided with doors, windows, and show-stands, also with contacts blocks for connection to alternating electric current supply system, water supply system, and refuge collecting system. Modular premise is of double-storey construction with possible communication between storeys. Partitions are made sound-proof and extend to both storeys. Each compartment between partitions in first storey is provided with window and door and/or with show-case. At end sides of unit, doors are installed in first and second storeys. Staircases from first to second storey are arranged inside and/or outside of modular premise. Used as base for modular premise are 40-feet cargo containers of factory manufacture. Unit is made up of 2 to 4 such containers. EFFECT: high efficiency. 2 cl, 5 dwgf
