<p>A tobacco product for producing a home-made cigarette, consisting of one or more tobacco portion(s) (47) comprising in each case at least two partial quantities (48 or 50) and being held together by inner and/or outer fixing means (49), each partial quantity (48 or 50) containing approximately the quantity of tobacco required for one cigarette, and the outer surface of the tobacco portion (47) and/or partial quantities (50) being permeable to air in such a way that it is impossible as such to draw through it and it is thus unsmokable. The tobacco portion (47) is formed either by two or more partial quantities (50) of rod-like shape in each case and connected, in particular bonded, to one another to form a rod belt (51), or by a flat oval tobacco unit comprising two or more partial quantities (48). The tobacco portion (47) is held together in each case in such a way that, when one partial quantity (48 or 50) is separated, this and the partial quantity immediately adjoining it are inevitably destroyed or broken up whilst removing the inner holding-together thereof. A stuffing apparatus is provided, in adaptation to the abovementioned tobacco, with a magazine (52) and a separating knife (1) for separating the individual partial quantities (48 or 50). <IMAGE></p> |
