SUBSTANCE: present invention describes method of preparing 3,3-diarylacrylic acid amides of general formula I: wherein A,B and Q are as defined in the specification, by condensation of compound of formula II with compound of formula CH<SB>3</SB>-CO-Q,, wherein Q is as defined above, in solvent in the presence of alkali metal hydroxide.
