The verification apparatus includes a standard article (A) and an article reproduced from it (B) which are mounted side by side and correspondingly orientated on a support (2). The two video cameras (5,6) are located above the support (2) and directed to corresponding zones on the two articles. The support for the two articles (2) may be moved along two orthogonal axes manually or by using step by step motors (3x,3y). A computer (7) processes the video camera signals such that enlarged images of corresponding zones are shown side by side (a,b) on a screen (8). |
