Vehicle control system on haulage routes. This is based on the use of a civilian channel offered by the GPS or other similar set of artificial satellites, capable of providing any user at any point on the globe with the data on his exact position at any time, and equipping each vehicle with a receiver for these GPS satellites, recording the information continuously generated by them, in a black box that keeps this information suitably protected and inaccessible, until the moment the journey is completed, at which time this black box is removed from the vehicle by the haulage company, for analysing its contents with the aid of a computer and a computer program or programs suitable for comparing the journey made with the theoretical journey, the stops made, etc. and especially for being able to detect fraudulent use of the vehicle. <IMAGE>
