Ball valve for pressurised fluid line

The valve has a body (1) with annular seals (10,11) between an opening at a first side (13) and an opening on the secondary side (4). A ball within the body is in sliding sealed contact between the annular seals. A purge orifice (18) communicated with atmosphere but does not connect with the other two openings in a portion of the body which corresponds to the base of the ball. A vent which connects the secondary side opening and the purge orifice is provided in the ball. A second vent (23) is formed to establish connection between the opening on the second side and a joint of the rod during the non-connection state between the cross flow opening to purge fluid situated in the opening of the secondary side.
