The parasol cover (1) is held on a frame with ribs (7) that are articulated on a central upper nut (5). This is on an axial hollow tube (6) which is fixed to the end of a pole (14) fixed to an eccentric post (3). Counter-ribs (9) are articulated on a lower central nut (8). The lower nut has a vertical axial rod (10) whose diameter is less than the diameter of the tube. The end of the rod is pointed and engages in the tube. It is suspended from a cord (11) passing through the tube and over a pulley (18) inside a hollow angle joint (13) joined to the upper end of the tube.
