PLANAR WEEDLESS FISH HOOK AND NOSE HOOK ARRANGEMENT

A weedless fish hook (40) and bait arrangement wherein the hook (40) has a bait restriction means (41a) which keeps the bait in line with the point of the hook (19) and the line. More importantly, the arrangement allows a more natural and free movement of the bait and increases the bite to hook ratio. The fish hook and bait arrangement having the shank of the hook adapted to form a substantially bowl shaped base (42) which allows the fisherman freedom in the placement of the bait, while ensuring the desired bit to hook ratio.
