The present invention relates to a device for protecting vehicles (1), including an intrusion detector (2) in the vehicle and a first radio transmitter (4) electrically connected to the intrusion detector (2) and transmitting a radio signal when it receives an intrusion signal coming from the intrusion detector (2). Outside the vehicle (1), it further includes a portable radio receiver (9) designed to receive the signals transmitted by the first radio transmitter.
