Readiness switching of burglar alarm system

The lock mechanism (2) is installed in a door (3) and has a special lock bolt (5) that extends into the lock plate assembly (7). Within the assembly there are sensing pins (13) and at the top and bottom there are a pair of pivot mounted mechanical interlocks (15) that are shaped (19) to latch into the lock bolt. Electromagnetic actuators (23,24) are activated to secure the interlocks and limit switches signal the condition to the alarm system.
