Parafoil aircraft

The parafoil aircraft has a mechanism for increasing lift on landing, high surface loading, a landing frame (7), an automatic device (8) for measuring distance (9) to the ground and a controller (5) or triggering the lift enhancing mechanism at a defined ground separation (12). The parafoil (2) has a surface loading of more than 20 daN/m2. The landing frame is skid shaped and its base surface has track guides. The ground distance measurement device is mounted on the landing frame.
