Noise attenuator for signals fed to digital processor

The attenuator includes an attenuation unit (100) formed by two ferrite elements and two lids (2A,B) which cover the ferrite elements. The ferrite elements are placed in close contact round a cable (5). A fastening foot (200) is secured to a chassis for the cable. The attenuation unit is attached to the chassis using the fastening foot. Preferably, the lids are cylindrical and on two end faces of each lid fitting protrusions (28) are formed. Two adaptors (64) extend from the fastening foot fitting into the lid protrusions. The adaptors are axially deformable in an axial direction of the attenuation unit.
