<p>This invention is a golf club shaft (12) for use in a golf club such as a putter (10). The shaft (12) preferably comprises an oversized hollow, circular tube having an outer diameter of at least 0.75 inch along substantially its entire length. In an alternate embodiment, the shaft includes a tapered intermediate section (46), and the tip end (44) has an outer diameter of approximately 0.63 inch to accommodate an oversized club head.</p> |
