Apparatus for a pipe welding installation

The apparatus for a pipe welding installation consists of three units. The first of these units is designed as a holding device, the second takes the form of a tubular housing (29) for at least one ferrite pipe core (46), and the third is provided with a tool for machining internal pipe seams. The first and second units, as well as the second and third units are joined by means of at least one coupling (16) incorporating at least one coupling element (24). This element engages with the tubular housing (29) of the second unit and joins the first and third units so that their relative rotational and axial motions are prevented.
