<p>A method for crystallizing high-purity acidic amino acid crystals in a high yield (a high recovery) from a liquid containing an acidic amino acid. The method comprises crystallizing acidic amino acid crystals from a liquid containing an acidic amino acid and impurities, such as certain pigment materials and proteins, and is characterized by adding a nonionic surfactant. According to this method, large acidic amino acid crystals can be effectively obtained without incorporation of pigments and without sacrificing the yield of the acidic amino acid.</p> |
