CERAMIC MATERIAL COMPOSITION FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF FLOOR TILES

The composition is used for high-speed single-time tilefiring. Its usage reduces the time of grinding the material byover 25%, the compaction factor in semidry state is improved, thereactance of the material is improved and the firing time isreduced. Aluminosilicate amorphous product is included in thecomposition as a melting agent. The following components, in wt.%,are used for the preparation of the stock: dressed kaolin from 10to 30, raw kaolin from 0 to 25, plastic clay from 15 to 35, mediumplastic clay from 2 to 15, feldspar-containing sand from 0 to 30,quartz sand from 0 to 25, feldspar from 0 to 40, pegmatite from 0to 40 and oligomict from 10 to 55.
