A bracket assembly for a detector unit comprising two parts (10, 12). One part (10) is fixed to a support surface (22, 25) and the other part (12) is fixed to the one part (10). The casing (39) of a detector unit is fixed to the other part. A passageway (26, 46) is formed in the bracket for a cable (28) to extend from the support surface to the casing (39) of the detector unit so that it is not possible to disable the unit by cutting or damaging the cable. |
