Straw cutter counter blade fixture and adjustment

The counter-cutter-blade (3) is pointed towards the outer surface of the rotary chopper drum (1) and is joined to a support supported on the chopper drum housing (8). The cutting gap between the counter-blade and the outer surface of the chopper drum is adjusted by adjustments (22) mounted on the chopper drum housing. The counter-blade support is joined to the top end of a sprung steel plate possessing roughly the internal width of the chopper drum housing. The plate extends in the direction of the main cutting force acting upon the counter-blade. The bottom end is connected to a transverse reinforcement of the chopper drum housing.
