摘要 The present invention relates to a trash can and a trash compactor for storing and compressing trash at the same time by performing a compressing operation with a rod gearwheel where a reducer is attached in the trash can. The present invention receives force from all directions and transmits the force in the same direction if the force is transmitted to any one upper or lower side. An integrated gearwheel where the reducer is attached performs compressing operations several times with reciprocating vertical motions until a trash compression container is full with trash by using the rod gearwheel in a state where the trash compression container reaches a lower part (a mounted state capable of storing trash). The rod gearwheel moves to the outside along a rail guide and is able to move vertically after the compressing operation. Trash stays in a heavy state and the bottom part of the trash compression container is open when pushing the trash compression container covered with a standard plastic garbage bag upwards by using the integrated gearwheel interconnected with the gearwheel. Only trash remains in the standard plastic garbage bag as the trash moves into the standard plastic garbage bag with gravity and the trash compression container is automatically separated from the standard plastic garbage bag by enabling the trash to easily move down since the trash compression container becomes wider from the middle part to the bottom part. The present invention is economical as users discharging a lot of trash are able to reduce the price burden of standard plastic garbage bags as production costs are reduced by having a simple mechanical design facility of the trash compactor. The present invention is able to reduce the massive costs for transportation and reclamation and contribute to environment by reducing the volume of trash.
