The holder has a first link (8) with attached first telescopic element (9) joined to the appliance (5), and has a second link (10) with a second telescopic element (12) for joining onto the tractor's (1) power-take-off shaft (4). The two telescopic elements are covered by two protective pipes (13,14). The second protective pipe has a sleeve (18) movable positioned on it. The sleeve is connected to the appliance by a traction piece (21) in the form of a chain attached by an eyelet (20).
