摘要 A calibration system for establishing the neutral point of a yaw speed sensor for a motor vehicle couples the output (Tau) of the sensor (22) to an electronic controller (20) which also receives signals from a steering angle (theta)f transmitter (24). A first programme determines from the signals (theta)f whether the vehicle is forming or not and a second programme establishes the progressive convergence of the yaw sensor signals (Tau) towards a limiting value determined by the vehicle's particular motion at that time. The necessary criterion for an accurate derivation of the yaw sensor neutral (Tau)o is confirmation that the vehicle is moving on a straight line when both convergence and its limiting value are close to zero.
