Apparatus for lifting a selected disc from a substantially horizontally disposed storage means in which a number of discs are stored on edge, side by side, and transferring the lifted disc between said storage means and another location, such as the disc player, the apparatus including a disc lift member arranged for controlled movement with respect to said disc storage means, wherein said lift member includes retaining means adapted to engage with the selected disc upon substantially vertical movement of said lift member away from said disc storage means. |
