An axle height warning device comprises sensing means (20) adapted to be mounted in fixed relationship to the axle (1) concerned and adapted to sense a critical distance below the axle less than the normal radius of the wheel (22), alarm means adapted to be activated by the sensing means after the distance between the axle (1) and the ground (4) becomes equal to the critical distance, and time delay means to ensure that the alarm means is not activated until the distance between the axle and the ground has been equal to the critical distance for a preset time. |
