Compound glazing comprises at least one active system (4;16) with variable optical and/or energetic properties which are preferably electrically controllable, of the variable light transmission/absorption system type (4) or of the variable light diffusion or photochromic system type (16), and at least one means for thermal protection of the active system and/or for adjustment of the optical appearance of the glazing system, these means comprising at least one coating (6; 17) having reflective properties in the infra red and/or in the visible region and/or in the ultra violet.
